MyWordz® brings you High Frequency Words (HFWs) as Mapped Words®
According to Speech Sound Mapping Theory, the speech sounds (shown using IPA-aligned Phonemies®), the graphemes (visually represented in black and grey using our Code Mapping Tool), and the meaning must be glued together in the orthographic lexicon for instant word recognition and accurate spelling. When a learner has strong phonemic awareness, just a couple of exposures may be enough to secure the word. By watching and writing the word, using the technology (typing the Phonemies® to see the word), and completing the Spelling Routine, learners can store the word quickly and securely in their brain’s word bank – not just for a spelling test on Friday, but for life.
We have mapped all Fry, Dolch, Letters and Sounds Sight Words! They are in the ICRWY Lessons app
